What kinds of applications are well suited for SSD?
Resolution:
Any application that performs random I/O operations is well suited for SSD. These include database indexing applications, ISP mail and transaction processing applications. In addition, applications accessing small files rapidly and applications requiring high I/O rates in a compact space will benefit from SSD. The benefits of SSD technology can far outweigh its cost.
