Important Configuration Notes

  • Only Intel Xeon x2xx Series (Cascade Lake-SP) processors can use memory modules built with 16Gb density DRAM. BIOS/firmware updates and/or specific board revisions may also be required.
  • Memory will clock down to run at optimal speeds depending on processor model installed. See latest ProLiant QuickSpecs for processor models and supported memory speeds.
  • This system supports Registered ECC (RDIMM) or Load Reduced (LRDIMM) memory. Mixing RDIMM and LRDIMM is not supported within this system.
  • If two processors are installed, only 24 DIMM slots are available. When populating with four processors 48 DIMM slots are available.
