Important Configuration Notes

  • Kingston's modules automatically clock down memory speed and voltage depending on which processor is used and the number of modules installed.
  • Advanced ECC mode require x4 modules.
  • Kingston recommends installing K4 kits for optimal quad channel performance configurations.
  • Kingston offers Unbuffered ECC UDIMM, Registered RDIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules. Modules of different memory types CANNOT be mixed within the same system.
  • Low Voltage RDIMMs and LRDIMMs are supported on Opteron 6200 and newer processors. Please refer to motherboard and processor manuals for supported configurations.
