Important Configuration Notes

  • Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed depending on processor model installed.
  • Only Intel Xeon x2xx Series (Cascade Lake-SP) and Intel Core i processors can use memory modules built with 16Gb density DRAM. BIOS/firmware updates and/or specific board revisions may also be required.
  • Xeon E-2xxx, Core i3, and Pentium processors support ECC and non-ECC unbuffered memory. Intel Core i9, i7 and i5 processors require non-ECC UDIMM.
  • This system supports both ECC and non-ECC memory. Mixing ECC and non-ECC modules is not recommended.

Compatible Upgrades For Your System

Kingston FURY Renegade with Heatsink (SFYRSK/xxxG, SFYRDK/xxxG) will fit in most systems that can accommodate its size (~80mm x 23.67mm x 10.5mm). This includes a variety of motherboards, desktops, gaming PCs and the PlayStation 5. If you are uncertain whether it will fit, please review your system manufacturer’s support manual, or contact Kingston Technical Support.
Note: Some small-form-factor systems like Intel® NUC cannot physically accommodate the height of the heatsink. In these circumstances, we suggest FURY Renegade without heatsink (SFYRS/xxxG, SFYRD/xxxG).
