Important Configuration Notes

  • Cascade Lake-X processors are required to use memory modules built with 16Gbit density DRAM. BIOS/firmware updates and/or specific board revisions may also be required. All other CPUs please contact the manufacturer.
  • QUAD CHANNEL memory bandwidth is only supported on Intel Skylake-X and Cascade Lake-X processors. MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN FOURS for Quad Channel mode.
  • DUAL CHANNEL memory bandwidth is supported on Intel Kabylake-X processors. MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS for Dual Channel mode.
  • Per ASRock, when using Kabylake-X based processors, Dual Channel operation is limited to sockets C1+D1, C2+D2. Refer to manual for proper installation.

Kingston FURY Configuration Notes

  • Mixing modules or kits of different speeds/timings/voltages is not recommended and may cause instability
  • If a K8 "Kit of 8" part is not listed for a particular speed/capacity, it is not recommended to install two K4 "Kit of 4" parts together. K8 kits are only listed if the configuration has been tested as stable.
  • Check with your motherboard QVL for the latest tested memory parts and supported configurations.
  • RGB lighting customization is supported with Kingston's FURY CTRL application, downloadable from the Microsoft Store. Most motherboard vendor RGB applications are also compatible with FURY RGB memory.

Compatible Upgrades For Your System

Overclocking pushes the stable industry standard specifications of memory (speed, latencies, voltage) to achieve higher performance. While generally safe and supported by Intel, AMD, and the motherboard/system manufacturers, overclocking is done at your own risk. System stability may be compromised by some speeds and configurations. The FURY parts listed are based on motherboard manufacturer testing (QVLs) and Kingston internal testing, however some systems may require premium components (high-end processor models, motherboards, power supplies, and water cooling) to achieve stable overclocking, particularly at extreme speeds.
