- ALL INSTALLED MEMORY MUST BE OF THE SAME TYPE, SPEED, AND CAPACITY. MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS for Dual Channel mode. Kingston offers "K2" kit part numbers for Dual Channel mode.
- This server has (2) intergrated motherboards, each motherboard has 16 sockets and supports 2 CPU's. Each CPU supports 4 banks of 2.
- Only systems with AMD's Opteron Socket F 45-nm CPU can use the DDR2-800 part numbers.
- There is a limit of eight ranks for each processor using DDR2-667 and DDR2-800. If this limitation is exceeded, the memory will clock down to 533MHz.
