Kingston's modules automatically clock down memory speed and voltage depending on which processor is used and the number of modules installed.
Kingston offers Unbuffered ECC UDIMM, Registered RDIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules. Modules of different memory types CANNOT be mixed within the same system.
Unbuffered ECC memory can only be populated in DIMM A and DIMM C banks, DIMM B bank must be left empty.

Quad Rank RDIMM can only occupy DIMM B bank. When using Quad Rank RDIMM, DIMM A and DIMM C banks MUST be empty. Quad Rank LRDIMM's can be insalled in all sockets. Please refer to User's Manual.
Low Voltage RDIMMs and LRDIMMs are supported on Opteron 6200 and newer processors. Please refer to motherboard and processor manuals for supported configurations.
