  • Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed and voltage depending on processor model and number of modules installed.
  • DIMMs must be populated in matched pairs for each processor (A1/A2, A3/A4). Single DIMM operation is not supported.
  • 4GB DDR3-1333 Reg ECC modules come in two versions: 313S/4G using x4 and 3138/4G using x8 DRAM. The two parts may be installed in the same system but not within the same memory bank.
  • Xeon E7 series processors support high density quad-rank 32GB (KTD-PE310QLV/32G), dual-rank 16GB (KTD-PE313LV/16G) and low density quad-rank 16GB (KTD-PE313QLV/16G) RDIMMs.
  • Xeon 7500/6500 series processors support low density quad-rank 16GB (KTD-PE313QLV/16G) RDIMMs and lower capacity parts at 1.5V.
