  • Low Voltage 1.35V PC3L DIMMs are only supported with Xeon E7 series processors and E7 Memory Cartridge, HP p/n 644172-B21. 32GB DIMMs require Xeon E7 series processors.
  • Xeon E7 series processors and E7 Memory Cartridge support high density quad-rank 32GB (KTH-PL310QLV/32G), dual-rank 16GB (KTH-PL313LV/16G) and low density quad-rank 16GB (KTH-PL313QLV/16G) RDIMMs.
  • MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS in each Memory Cartridge.
  • DIMM pairs MUST be populated in sequence by letter designation. Install DIMM pair in 1A/8A first, followed by 3B/6B, then 2C/7C and 4D/5D last.
  • Maximum performance is achieved by balancing DIMM pairs by letter groupings across all Memory Cartridges. Such that the 1A/8A pair is installed in all Memory Cartridges first, followed by the B pair, C pair and D pair.
  • Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed and voltage depending on processor model and number of modules installed.
