Note importanti sulla configurazione

  • System BIOS version 3.0 and above required to support Xeon E5-2600/1600 v2 series processors.
  • Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed and voltage depending on processor model and number of modules installed.
  • Kingston recommends installing K4 kits for optimal quad channel performance configurations when using Xeon CPU's.
  • Due to Xeon chipset limitations Quad Rank memory will operate at 1066MHz with 1 DIMM per Channel or 800MHz with 2 DIMMs per Channel.
  • Core i7 Extreme CPU's can ONLY use non-ECC UDIMM's. Xeon E5-1600/1600 v2 family of CPU's can ONLY use ECC UDIMMs or RDIMMs. Xeon E5-2600/2600 v2 family of CPU's can ONLY use ECC UDIMMs or RDIMMs or LRDIMMs
  • Kingston offers Unbuffered ECC UDIMM, Registered RDIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules. Modules of different memory types CANNOT be mixed within the same system.
  • It is recommend that all installed memory be the same size, type, and speed.
