  • MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN GROUPS OF EIGHT FOR MAXIMUM MEMORY PERFORMANCE.
  • Kingston memory will clock down to run at optimal speed depending on processor model and number/type of modules installed.
  • HP states the following speeds are supported per DIMM type and configuration:
  • 1R (Single Rank) DIMMs at 2666 in 1DPC (1 DIMM per Channel)
  • 2R (Dual Rank) DIMMs at 2400 in 1DPC (1 DIMM per Channel)
  • 4R (Quad Rank) LRDIMMs at 2666 in 1DPC (1 DIMM per Channel)
  • 1R (Single Rank) DIMMs at 2133 in 2DPC (2 DIMMs per Channel)
  • 2R (Dual Rank) DIMMs at 2133 in 2DPC (2 DIMMs per Channel)
  • 4R (Quad Rank) LRDIMMs at 2133 in 2DPC (2 DIMMs per Channel)

  • Kingston offers both Registered RDIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules. Registered and Load Reduced modules CANNOT be mixed within the same system.
