Using DDR266/333:

Virtually any configuration up to 3GB can be reached using any combination of Kingston's 512MB and 1GB modules. Due to motherboard limitations, however, memory may slow to 200MHz when fully populated to 3GB.
Using DDR400:

Up to 1GB can be reached using any of Kingston's 512MB or 1GB modules in the first socket.

Per ASUS, this motherboard only supports 2 ranks of DDR400 memory. If more than one dual rank DIMM is installed, the memory will be limited to 333MHz and the 3rd socket is disabled. Refer to motherboard manual for possible configurations.

This motherboard supports both ECC (X72) and non-ECC (X64) memory. When mixing ECC and non-ECC modules, the system will not perform the ECC function.
