Catatan Konfigurasi Penting

  • MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN IDENTICAL GROUPS OF EIGHT for Octal Channel mode using Xeon W-3400 series processors.
  • MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN GROUPS OF FOUR for Quad Channel mode using Xeon W-2400 series processors.
  • When using a Xeon W-2400 series processor, only channels A, B, E and F are usable.
  • Mixing x4 and x8 type modules is NOT allowed.
  • JEDEC spec "KSM" Server Premier Registered DIMMs will operate at 4800MT/s installed in 1DPC (1 DIMM per Channel) in Octal/Quad Channel configuration using Intel Xeon W9, W7 and W5 series processors. Due to processor/chipset limitations, 4800MT/s DDR5 RDIMMs installed in 2DPC (2 DIMMs per Channel) in Octal/Quad Channel configuration are limited to operate at and will safely clock down to 4400MT/s. Xeon W3 series and W5-3423 / W5-3433 models limit memory speed to 4400MT/s, regardless of DIMM configuration.
  • Intel limits the compatibility of 96GB RDIMMs, which cannot be mixed with any other capacities or module types.
  • All 5600MT/s and 4800MT/s memory will safely clock down to slower speeds when forced by the chipset/processor.
  • Refer to motherboard manual and QVL for supported memory configurations and speeds.

Catatan Konfigurasi Kingston FURY

  • This motherboard does not support XMP-based memory overclocking.
  • Kingston FURY Renegade Pro Plug N Play (automatic overclock) at 4800MT/s will run up to the speed allowed by the manufacturer's system BIOS. PnP cannot increase the system memory speed faster than is allowed by the manufacturer's BIOS.
  • Mixing modules or kits of different speeds/timings/voltages is not recommended and may cause instability.
  • Using a Xeon W-3400 series processor, it is not recommended to install two K4 "Kit of 4" parts together to complete an Octal Channel bank group. K8 kits recommended to populate Octal Channel bank groups.
