Important Configuration Notes

  • This system supports 1.5V DDR3 and 1.35V Low-Voltage DDR3 memory. When mixing DIMMs of different voltages, system runs memory at 1.5V.
  • MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS, Kingston offers "K2" kit part numbers, OR ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN GROUPS OF FOUR for Quad Channel mode.
  • Due to chipset limitations, Kingston's DDR3 Quad Rank memory will operate at 1066MHz in One-DIMM-per-Channel. Installing Quad Rank modules in Two-DIMM-per-Channel will operate at 800MHz.
  • This system supports either Registered ECC or Unbuffered ECC memory. Mixing Registered ECC and Unbuffered ECC modules is not supported.
