Intel Xeon 4th / 5th Gen Intel C74x Series

MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN IDENTICAL GROUPS OF EIGHT FOR MAXIMUM MEMORY PERFORMANCE.
Per Intel, mixing module types (x4 and x8) is NOT allowed within a bank group.
Per Intel, 5600MT/s is supported with select 5th Gen Intel Xeon processor models, while mid- and low-tier models may limit memory speed to 5200MT/s or 4400MT/s. 4th Gen Intel Xeon models support up to 4800MT/s with select Platinum and Gold models. Check with Intel for supported memory speeds by processor model.

All 5600MT/s and 4800MT/s memory will safely clock down to slower speeds when forced by the chipset/processor.
A 5th Gen Xeon processor may be required to use 96GB RDIMMs.
