Important Configuration Notes

  • MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN AN IDENTICAL GROUP OF SIX FOR MAXIMUM MEMORY PERFORMANCE IN BANK 0.
  • Modules installed in bank 1 for additional capacity will lower overall memory speed. Per AMD, 4800MT/s is supported in 1DPC (1 DIMM per channel) configuration with 4th Gen EPYC processor models. In 2DPC (2 DIMMs per channel) memory will clock down to 4400MT/s with 1R (Single Rank) DIMMs installed, and 4000MT/s with 2R (Dual Rank) DIMMs installed.
  • Mixing module types and densities (x4, x8, 16Gbit, 24Gbit) is NOT allowed. All modules must be identical.
  • Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed depending number of modules installed. Refer to manual for supported memory configurations and speeds.

Compatible Upgrades For Your System

Kingston FURY Renegade with Heatsink (SFYRSK/xxxG, SFYRDK/xxxG) will fit in most systems that can accommodate its size (~80mm x 23.67mm x 10.5mm). This includes a variety of motherboards, desktops, gaming PCs and the PlayStation 5. If you are uncertain whether it will fit, please review your system manufacturer’s support manual, or contact Kingston Technical Support.
Note: Some small-form-factor systems like Intel® NUC cannot physically accommodate the height of the heatsink. In these circumstances, we suggest FURY Renegade without heatsink (SFYRS/xxxG, SFYRD/xxxG).
