Important Configuration Notes

  • Per Dell, modules must be installed in pairs of two, four, or eight. Kingston supports this system with kits of two Fully Buffered DIMMs at 533MHz and 667MHz. Mixing module speeds will cause them to default to the slower speed.
  • Memory sparing and memory mirroring require eight modules (four kits of two).
  • The latest BIOS must be installed to support Quad Rank modules.
