Important Configuration Notes

  • For Dual Channel mode MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS.
  • For Quad Channel mode MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN GROUPS OF FOUR.
  • When installing Low Voltage memory modules, all other non-Low Voltage part numbers MUST BE REMOVED.
  • Kingston offers "K2" kit part numbers for Dual Channel mode and "K4" kit part numbers for Quad Channel mode. Kit part numbers consist of two or four single-rank or dual-rank modules. Mixing x4 and x8 modules is allowed, however not within the same bank.
