Important Configuration Notes

  • Kingston offers both Registered RDIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules. Registered and Load Reduced modules CANNOT be mixed within the same system.
  • LRDIMMs and single or dual rank RDIMMs support 3 DIMMs Per Channel (DPC) and can be populated in all 24 sockets. Quad Rank RDIMMs only support 2 DIMMs Per Channel and can only be populated in the first two memory banks, 16 sockets only.
